According to a statement from Anne Arundel County, the center will remain closed today in response to the campus-wide electrical failure. The senior center moved to its current location in Arnold on October 7th and must abide by the college's emergency protocols.
In the wake of this incident, the Department of Aging and Disabilities directs anyone needing assistance or further information to reach out. Due to the power outage affecting the Anne Arundel Community College Campus, the community's seniors must look elsewhere for the services typically provided by the Arnold Senior Activity Center, which includes social, educational, and recreational activities.
