Spanning just under 4,000 square feet, the store opened its doors on Friday, October 18th, and is poised to serve both men's and women's fashion needs with a range of products including ready-to-wear clothing, shoes, bags, and accessories. Looking back to the brand's origins, Balenciaga was established in 1917 by Cristóbal Balenciaga and has since become synonymous with creativity and precision in fashion design. Shoppers in Charlotte can visit the new upscale retailer from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and enjoy shorter hours from noon until 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Significant investment in the store's layout and design was marked by a $1.8 million building permit filed earlier in the year for its upfit at SouthPark mall, according to Charlotte Business Journal.
