
Tragedy struck Columbia with the recent identification of a homicide victim whose life was cut short in an unexpected act of violence. 26-year-old Kendrick McLellan of Baltimore was found lifeless on Oct. Saturday, a victim of multiple gunshot wounds. According to Howard County Police, McLellan's body was discovered in the early morning hours in the driver's seat of a parked vehicle behind a Centre Park Drive office building. A reward of up to $5,000 is now offered for information that could help solve the mystery of McLellan's death.
Conducting routine checks around 2:14 a.m., authorities came upon the grim scene in the 8800 block of Centre Park Drive. Investigators are diligently working to piece together the puzzle of events leading to McLellan's death but have so far found no connection with another shooting that occurred later the same day in the vicinity.
