Chaos erupted on the roads of Baltimore following an armed carjacking involving three juveniles, the Baltimore Police Department reported. The incident occurred on Tuesday at 5900 Holabird Avenue. A 39-year-old woman was reportedly loading her vehicle when an armed individual approached and demanded her car keys while implying possession of a gun.
This confrontation prompted an immediate response from patrol officers, who relayed a detailed account of the stolen vehicle to their airborne unit, Foxtrot. In response, Foxtrot located the vehicle and tracked it to I-95 North at exit 61, the driver's erratic maneuvers precipitating an inevitable crash. Attempting to evade capture, the suspects, compromised by their unsuccessful escape route, were soon detained by officers on the ground.
According to a X post by the Baltimore Police, the suspects included a 15-year-old male, a 13-year-old male, and a 14-year-old male, all of whom were transported to a hospital for treatment before being transferred to the Juvenile Justice Center for processing. It is worth noting that these individuals were not new to law enforcement, each having a history of prior arrests, including stolen auto.
