
A tragic scene unfolded this morning in Bedford as police and fire department officials responded to a deadly incident involving a bicyclist and two vehicles. According to WKYC, the accident occurred at 18200 Rockside Road around 9:12 a.m., where first responders discovered the cyclist, who has yet to be identified, trapped beneath one of the vehicles and pronounced dead at the scene.
Though authorities are actively investigating, further details about the accident have been limited, as the Southeast Area Law Enforcement Accident Investigation Unit has taken charge of the proceedings. This critical procedure is aimed at piecing together the circumstances that ultimately led to this harrowing outcome, with treatments also provided to the drivers involved in the collision. Police have yet to release the names of the two drivers or any updates regarding their conditions.
