The City of Bellevue is on the move to create a space for innovation to flourish without forgetting its commitment to inclusive opportunities. A newly proposed Inclusive Innovation Forum is set forth to be the meeting ground for both private and public sector minds, according to the City of Bellevue. To foster a conversation where technology and innovation not only grow businesses but also propel forward ideals of opportunity, equity, mobility, and economic development.

Participants are expected to, slowly but surely, shape their city's approach to innovation projects, provide critical policy development insights, and appraise emerging technologies through the lens of equity and community impact. Moreover, the forum will play a pivotal role in promoting digital equity and creating educational opportunities for community members.

While the official launch of the forum is anticipated in 2025, Bellevue isn't just biding its time. A call for early input has been put out through a short survey, with responses due by Friday, Nov. 22. In an initiative to rally communal thought, the city invites the public to a brainstorming session on Monday, Nov. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. at City Hall, as per the City of Bellevue. However, to participate, you will need to sign up as registration is mandatory.
