The Boston Police Department has issued an alert and is currently seeking assistance in locating 16-year-old Collisa Edwards from Roxbury, who has been reported as missing since late September. According to their report, Edwards was last observed last Friday, September 27, 2024, around noon in the vicinity of 1286 Hyde Park Avenue. Descriptions provided indicate she is a black female, approximately 5’5” tall, weighing 110 lbs, with distinctive long straight black hair featuring a green highlight at the front.
In addition to her notable hairstyle, Edwards can be recognized by a small heart tattoo located under her eye and a second tattoo of a "splotchy person" on her right wrist, as to the description provided by the police.
At the time she went missing, Edwards was dressed in her school attire, consisting of a blue polo shirt embellished with the Roxbury Prep insignia and khaki pants. There have been identified areas where the missing teen is known to frequent, including Harold Park in her Roxbury neighborhood and surrounding areas of Deering Road in Mattapan.
The Boston Police Department is urging anyone who may have information about Collisa's whereabouts to reach out promptly.
