In Bucks County, a 25-year-old Bristol Township man, Cody Kirk McInnis, has been sentenced to 10 to 20 years in state prison following his guilty plea in August to multiple felony charges related to illegal firearms transactions.
McInnis faced 12 counts for making false statements on firearm purchase forms, 11 counts each of filing false reports and firearm ownership – duty of other persons, and two counts of criminal conspiracy, as reported by the Bucks County Government's official site.
During the sentencing on Friday, Common Pleas Judge Wallace H. Bateman Jr. handed down the verdict and also prohibited McInnis from possessing or owning firearms and ammunition, McInnis admitted to selling the firearms assigned to him unknowingly to elusive buyers - he claimed no memory of who received the illicit weapons, as per Bucks County.
