
Brookline Police is reaching out to the public for help in identifying two individuals who are suspected to have partaken in a theft nearly two weeks ago. The incident in question occurred on the crossroad of Washington Street and Pond Avenue on September 29, where a victim's backpack, filled with electronics, was taken. The department has provided descriptions of the alleged perpetrators in hope that witnesses might come forward.
In their appeal for assistance, they've detailed that Individual #1 is a white male, who could be anywhere from his mid-40s to early 50s. He was apparently seen wearing black shorts, a blue/grey sweatshirt, a black baseball cap, black glasses, and brown, work-style boots. Not far off in description, Individual #2 is similarly described as a white male in his mid to late 40s, clad in black pants, a black jacket, a tan baseball cap, and again, brown work-style boots.
