
A shooting incident in Broomfield on Friday afternoon resulted in a police chase and the arrest of three individuals. According to Denver7, the confrontation began with shots fired from one vehicle into another near Northwest Parkway and US 36.
Despite the gunfire, one person was "grazed" by a bullet, yet they were checked and believed to be uninjured, according to Broomfield police. After the vehicle linked to the shooting was spotted, a chain of events led to a pursuit. Culminating near 60th Avenue and Sheridan as per Denver7, the chase ended with the vehicle's occupants attempting to flee on foot but ultimately were detained by officers.
The suspects, two women, and one man, were taken into custody following a short foot pursuit near West 58th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard, as detailed by The Denver Post. Initially, there was confusion over the number of suspects involved, but it was later clarified that only three were implicated in the incident.
As reported by 9News, the arrested suspects' vehicle had crashed into a light pole near West 64th Avenue and Sheridan Boulevard before the arrest, with local agencies contributing to the effort. Following the closure caused by the arrests, Arvada Police stated that the southbound lanes of Sheridan Boulevard at Ralston Road had since reopened.
