
Broward County authorities are intensifying their search for answers in a fatal shooting that claimed the life of Eullys Hinnant III in Pompano Beach last month. In an effort to encourage potential witnesses to come forward, Broward Crime Stoppers is now offering a reward up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest, as Local10 reported.
The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m., September 16, at the vicinity of Northwest Seventh Terrace and Northwest Sixth Street. When the Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived on scene, they encountered Hinnant on the sidewalk with a gunshot wound. According to BocaNewsNow.com, Gerdy St. Louis, a BSO spokeswoman, stated that Pompano Beach Fire Rescue rushed him to an a local hospital in critical condition, but tragically, he died from his injuries on September 19.
Detective Anthony Ciaravino of the BSO Homicide Unit is the lead investigator in this case, which was initially handled by the Violent Crimes Unit. With the case now classified as a homicide following Hinnant's death, the investigation has taken on renewed urgency. BSO is appealing to the community for tips and encourages anyone with relevant information to reach out with what they know.
