The second shooting took place at Hatch Rd and Faith Home Rd, leaving a 53-year-old man with a non-fatal gunshot wound.
Law enforcement is trying to understand the circumstances behind the shootings. A person of interest is described as a Hispanic male, about 5'7", with a stocky build and dark hair, wearing dark clothing. Police have not yet linked him to the shootings but are seeking to locate and question him about his potential involvement.
In a statement on the Ceres Police Department's Facebook page, the community is being asked for help. Residents and local business owners are urged to review any surveillance footage from 9:00 PM on October 12 to 2:00 AM on October 13. This request focuses on areas along Hatch Rd, Faith Home Rd, Fowler Rd, and businesses on Mitchell Rd.
