The Chelsea Police Department recently executed a search warrant at an apartment on Marlboro Street, leading to the arrest of a 27-year-old man and the confiscation of drugs, cash, and a firearm. According to a report on the department's social media, the incident occurred on Monday, when local authorities, in collaboration with Everett Police Detectives, carried out the raid on apartment number 1 at 63 Marlboro Street. This intervention is part of a broader effort to combat drug-related crimes in the community.
During the operation, officers reportedly found a significant amount of cocaine and fentanyl and a sizable sum of cash, which is believed to have been amassed through illegal drug sales activities. To further ensure the offender's prosecution, officers have also seized packaging materials that they believe to be indicative of the suspected illegal transactions at the location.
Jose Sanchez, the individual apprehended in the Chelsea operation, now faces charges that include trafficking cocaine and illegal possession of a firearm.
