A hit-and-run incident has occurred in southwest Oklahoma City after a child was struck by a vehicle last Friday night. The driver fled the scene. According to reports from KOCO, Oklahoma City police were called to the area near Southwest 29th Street and South Portland Avenue just before 7:30 p.m.
The child's age remains undisclosed, but they were quickly transported to a local hospital, and their condition is still uncertain, as KFOR reported.
According to News 9, details about the fleeing vehicle are also unclear authorities have not yet released any identifying features of the vehicle involved in the collision.
