The Lebanon Police Department confirmed the incident, noting the need for a LifeFlight helicopter which subsequently caused a temporary road closure.
The child, whose identity and exact age remain undisclosed, was quickly flown to a Nashville area hospital. During the emergency response, Lebanon Road was shut down to create a necessary landing zone for the medical transport helicopter. According to a report by WKRN, the road was reassumed open shortly after 6:20 p.m., approximately 20 minutes post the LifeFlight's landing.
