A 21-year-old man from Clinton Township is facing a series of charges after allegedly instigating a violent incident on Sunday. Macomb County officials say Kevin Donte Price became embroiled in a confrontation with a teenager and, after the initial dispute, pursued and fired a weapon at a vehicle carrying three individuals, all minors, in Macomb Township, as per FOX 2 Detroit.

According to The Detroit News, Price attempted to fight with a teen who was entering his home, after which the youth fled, joined his two friends, and left the area in a car. The situation escalated when Price allegedly followed the trio in his own car, pulling up alongside it, and discharged multiple rounds into the vehicle. The attack took place as the teenagers sought safety, their retreat marked by the cacophony of gunfire, but, fortunately, the bullets harmed none.

"Violence of any kind in our community is unacceptable, and we take these incidents extremely seriously," Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido was quoted as saying in a press release. "This reckless and dangerous behavior could have had tragic consequences, and we are grateful no one was injured. My office will work tirelessly to hold the individual accountable," The Detroit News reports.

Legal charges pressed upon Price include ten felonies, among them firearm discharge from a vehicle and malicious destruction of personal property between $1,000 and $20,000. The additional accusations encompass three counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and four counts of using a firearm during the commission of a felony. In the judicial proceeding, Price was given a bond of $500,000 and is restrained to his home with a GPS tether, should he post bail, according to ClickOnDetroit.
