Columbus, Ohio—A tragic incident unfolded last Saturday when Columbus Police were dispatched to respond to an unknown complaint on the 300 Block of W 3rd Ave. According to a media release from the Columbus Division of Police, the situation escalated to a rapid SOS, indicating an immediate emergency in the vicinity.
The officers, upon arrival, were met by an individual who urgently provided information about a person suffering from a gunshot wound inside the local premises. Aided by the individual who flagged them down, the officers found the injured person quickly. Columbus Fire Department Medic #25 responded to the scene promptly and pronounced the victim deceased at 5:10 am, marking a sad beginning to the day.
