The Columbus Division of Police confirmed that Dock Parker was arrested and charged yesterday with the murder of Angel Salguero Diaz, who was found dead from a gunshot wound on April 14.
The case has seen significant progress since the initial dispatch of Columbus Police Patrol officers to the scene of the crime on that fateful night at around 10:17 PM. Upon arrival at the 1300 block of E. Hudson Street, the officers discovered the victim and attempted to provide aid. However, despite their efforts and those of the arriving CFD Engine 13 personnel, Diaz was pronounced dead at 10:24 PM. It was a critical moment that prompted an intense investigation.
Previously, another suspect, Jaivon Jones, was taken into custody on June 27 without incident by CPD SWAT personnel.
