Early this morning in the much-stirred hours before dawn, Columbus Police Officers rushed to the scene of a reported shooting on the 800 block of E. Fulton St., where they found a victim in serious condition. The individual, whose identity has not been made public, was swiftly transported to an area hospital where they were subsequently reported to be in stable condition, escaping the precipice of a grimmer fate, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
The police responded promptly at about 4:04 a.m. today when the city was cloaked in darkness. Officers worked quickly to not only attend to the victim but also apprehend the suspect on the scene, an action that likely prevented further escalation of violence.
