A late-night shooting on East Town Street has left one adult victim with multiple gunshot wounds, raising fresh concerns over public safety in the neighborhood. According to a media release by the Columbus Division of Police, the incident occurred around 11:30 PM last Saturday, near the corner of East Town Street and South 6th Street.
The victim, whose identity has not been released, was found injured and subsequently transported to a local area hospital, where they are expected to recover. The Columbus Police Felony Assault Unit is approaching the public for assistance and asking anyone with information to step forward.
