
The Culver City Police Department reported a tragic incident on Monday where a male pedestrian was struck and fatally injured by a vehicle at the intersection of National Boulevard and Wesley Street. The collision occurred at approximately 4:26 pm, as conveyed in a press release from the Culver City Police Department.
According to the Culver City Police Department, police and fire departments promptly attended the scene to provide medical assistance to the injured pedestrian who was later transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. The driver implicated in the crash cooperated fully with law enforcement at the scene, which allowed investigators and forensics teams to carry out their inquiry into the precise cause of the accident, which has yet to be determined although initial indications suggest that driver impairment was not a contributing factor to the fatal event.
