The Dallas Police Department breathed a sigh of relief as the previously reported missing individual, Javier Ruiz-Martinez, was safely located. The public's assistance played a crucial role in ensuring Ruiz-Martinez could return home unharmed.
Before he was found, the Dallas Police Department had issued an urgent appeal to the public for help in locating Ruiz-Martinez. Described as a Latin man with black hair and brown eyes, the 24-year-old stands 5’4” tall and weighs approximately 257 lbs. Last seen in the 4600 block of St. Francis Avenue yesterday, Ruiz-Martinez was wearing a dark green shirt, and black shorts, and was without shoes, driving an older model, grey and green Nissan Altima with the license plate GXT6218.
In a statement obtained by DPD Beat, the police emphasized the immediate need for community assistance, urging anyone with information to come forward. The department provided a contact number for tips, (214) 671-4268, and referenced case number 154334-2024 in their request for public cooperation.
