Tragedy struck in the 5900 block of Highland Village Drive on Tuesday afternoon when a man was shot and later died from his wounds. The Dallas Police Department responded to the incident after receiving reports of gunfire at around 3:15 p.m. finding 36-year-old Quentin Brown in the parking lot of an apartment complex. Despite being rushed to a local hospital by Dallas Fire-Rescue, Brown's life could not be saved.
Investigators identified 22-year-old Alonzo Green as the suspect, and he was promptly arrested and charged with murder according to information from the Dallas Police Department. The motive behind the shooting is still under investigation, case number 157195-2024.
