Tragedy struck Porter Ranch late Tuesday night when a two-car collision resulted in the deaths of two men and injured a young driver. The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed that the crash took place at 11:15 p.m. in the 10700 block of Tampa Avenue, a location tinged with a history of violent traffic incidents. According to the NBC Los Angeles report, firefighters arrived to find a devastating scene and declared two men deceased at the spot.

Details obtained by KTLA indicate that a gray BMW, driven by a man in his 20s, was moving north on Tampa Avenue when it collided with a white Toyota making a left turn onto Atlanta Avenue. The efforts to rapidly rescue the trapped victims involved the jaws of life, but ultimately, the two men inside the Toyota, both in their 50s, could not be saved and were pronounced dead at the scene.

"An approximately 20yo male patient from the 2nd vehicle was transported with non-life threatening injuries," as per the LAFD's alert.

As stated by KTLA, "There are no stop signs. There are no lights. There’s nothing right here,” Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. Jodie Lee said. “So, when someone makes a lefthand turn they’re thinking it’s going to be safe … they misjudged it and unfortunately this is what happens."
