
Authorities in Detroit are seeking assistance in identifying two men caught on surveillance footage as they burglarized a clothing store on the city's west side. According to WWJ Newsradio, the incident occurred early Sunday morning, October 20, around 5 a.m., near Joy and Pinehurst, a few blocks west of Oakman Boulevard.
The surveillance released by Detroit police captures two individuals forcibly entering the premises and then swiftly stuffing clothing items into their haul. The name of store, however, was not released by police. One assailant is described as being in his mid-50s with a gray goatee, sporting a baseball cap emblazoned with "BOSS," while the other is a late 40s bald male with a beard.
As they continue their investigation, law enforcement has posted a reward for information leading to the arrest of these individuals. A notice on the DetroitRewards.tv website states, "Reward: $500," and provides case number 2410200077 for tipsters to reference when submitting information about the break-in and theft.
Anyone who has information is encouraged to contact the Detroit Police Department's 2nd Precinct directly at 313-596-5240 or to provide anonymous tips by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-SPEAK-UP. Details can also be submitted online via the DetroitRewards.tv platform. The authorities affirm that all tips will remain 100% anonymous and could be eligible for a monetary reward if it aids in the suspects' capture.
