The Detroit Police Department is requesting the public's assistance in locating LaMarra Jones, a 31-year-old woman who has been reported missing since Sunday. Jones was last seen at her residence in the 8300 block of Plainview Avenue, and concerns are heightened due to her mental health conditions.
According to ClickOnDetroit, Jones' mother reported that her daughter has bipolar disorder and schizophrenia. LaMarra Jones stands 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighs approximately 200 pounds, and has brown hair, and eyes. She was last observed wearing a maroon sweatshirt, black pants, and beige sandals.
In a social media appeal, the Detroit Police Department’s Missing Persons unit published a post urging anyone with information to come forward. "Please help us find missing LaMarra Jones. If you have any information, please call Detroit's 6th Precinct at (313) 596-5640 or 911," the post stated, indicating the urgency of the situation.
