The Detroit Police Department is actively seeking assistance from the public to locate Levi Pacheco, a 60-year-old man reported missing from his home in Detroit since yesterday. Pacheco was last seen in the 5800 block of Newberry Street wearing a brown shirt, green pants, and black shoes. His physical description includes being 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown eyes, and being bald, according to ClickOnDetroit.
He is considered to be especially vulnerable due to his dementia, a condition which his brother has confirmed, as his ability to remember places, people, and safety measures may be severely compromised, the urgency of locating him is palpable, and because time is of the essence in cases involving individuals with cognitive impairments, the community's eyes and ears could prove vital in ensuring his safe return.
The Detroit Police Department's Missing page also issued an appeal on social media, asking anyone with information about Levi Pacheco's whereabouts to come forward and help in the search, reiterating the call for urgent public assistance to aid in the search for Pacheco.
Anyone who might have seen Pacheco or who has any information related to his disappearance is encouraged to reach out to the Detroit Police Department’s 4th Precinct by calling (313) 596-5440 or, in an immediate situation they may dial 911, while tips can also be submitted anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-Speak Up.
