As evening falls, temperatures are expected to drop to a low of around 43 degrees with a northwest wind of around 6 mph.
Wednesday's forecast similarly features sunshine and a high near 66 degrees, with continued west-northwest winds moving at a speed of 5 to 10 mph, occasionally gusting up to 18 mph. Clear skies will remain into Wednesday night as the low dips to around 42 degrees. Come Thursday, the sun persists and the thermometer is forecasted to hit a high near 64 degrees with lighter winds from the north-northeast at 3 to 5 mph.
The warming trend is to notably pick back up on Friday, where the high is expected to reach near 75 degrees under a mostly sunny sky. According to the National Weather Service, Detroit's Friday night will see a shift with more cloud coverage and a low of around 54 degrees. The weekend kicks off with mostly sunny conditions on Saturday and a high near 67 degrees, but there's a turn coming that night with a chance of showers beginning after 2 am.
Sunday keeps up with the possibility for intermittent showers, pairing it with partly sunny skies and a high near 65 degrees. The evening, however, will likely continue to be witness to sporadic rainfall, as conditions become partly cloudy with a low of around 43 degrees. The outlook for Columbus Day on Monday brightens up, bringing a return to mostly sunny conditions and a cooler high near 58 degrees.
