On Tuesday, a vehicle veered off course, crashing into a local eatery in White Settlement. At minutes past 10 pm, the White Settlement Police Department (WSPD) officers were on the scene following reports of the accident.
According to the White Settlement Police Department, the investigation revealed that the driver, whose identity has not been disclosed, was impaired at the time of the incident. Subsequently, authorities arrested the individual on charges of DWI—2nd Offense. Remarkably, there were no reports of serious injuries despite the potential danger posed by a motor vehicle encroaching upon a dining establishment.
In the aftermath of the collision, the WSPD issued a reminder to the community to prioritize safety when behind the wheel. "We remind motorists to always have a plan to ensure a safe ride home… use an app-based ride share service or have a friend," the White Settlement Police Department advised.
