Tragedy struck Cleveland yesterday night when a man and a woman were found fatally wounded inside a vehicle. According to WKYC, both individuals had sustained gunshot injuries. The Cleveland Division of Police responded to a distress call regarding "unknown trouble" on the 16000 block of Euclid Beach Boulevard at around 11:30 p.m.
Following the incident, having received immediate medical attention due to their unresponsive state, the Cleveland EMS swiftly transported the pair to the hospital. Despite the rapid response, both individuals, including a 19-year-old man, were later pronounced dead, as FOX8 News reported. Inside the vehicle, where police were called to the scene first, they discovered the victims on Euclid Beach Boulevard.
Sgt. Wilfredo Diaz of the Cleveland Division of Police elaborated in a statement obtained by FOX8 News, "Both occupants appeared to have suffered gunshot wounds." Initial findings suggest that the shooting may have taken place near the 16100 block of Lakeshore Avenue before the car came to a halt at its eventual location.
The investigation is currently in the hands of the Cleveland Division of Police Homicide Unit, while the identity of the female victim is yet to be revealed. "Our Homicide Unit is actively investigating this incident," Sgt. Diaz boldly informed reporters.
