The El Paso County Sheriff's Office has reported a significant arrest in connection with a disturbing case of alleged sexual abuse. Rogelio Garcia Jr. wanted on charges of the continuous sexual abuse of a young child or disabled individual under the age of 14, was taken into custody on October 8th. The Special Victims Unit (SVU), supported by the Major Crimes Unit, the Warrants and Fugitive Apprehension Unit, and the Narcotics Unit, conducted the operation that located Garcia at his home on Emerald Pass Ave.
According to El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were able to take Garcia into custody without having to resort to force. The arrest marks the culmination of coordinated efforts to precisely bring to justice an individual accused of particularly heinous crimes. Garcia now faces the legal consequences of his actions, his bond set at $150,000.00.
