Euless residents can take a step towards a cleaner environment by participating in the city's upcoming Annual Crud Day. Scheduled for November 2 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at City Hall, located at 201 N. Ector Dr., this event provides a safe opportunity for the disposal of household hazardous waste. From paint and chemicals to oils, the city is taking strides to ensure sustainability.
The event is expected to reach its limit quickly, as the mobile collection unit can only accommodate materials from around 125 households; this limitation emphasizes the importance of community involvement in environmental conservation, ensuring that each resident's contribution to this effort is an integral thread in the collective fabric that sustains it, once the collection unit is full, residents can still dispose of their waste at the Environmental Collection Center (ECC), located at 6400 Bridge Street in Fort Worth - proof of residency is required.
As part of the city's green initiatives, the City of Euless is also accepting small electrical appliances for recycling, which includes common items such as computers, radios, VCRs, stereos, clocks, and hair dryers. This effort contributes to reducing electronic waste which often contains hazardous materials that can harm the environment.
