While construction continues to reshape the concrete landscape of the Euless Police Department, a gesture of community camaraderie shines through the dust. The Euless Fire Department is set to host this year's Open House Event, extending an invite to their blue counterparts. The announcement, accessible through the Euless Police Department's Facebook page, heralds the OPEN HOUSE 2024, slated for next weekend, as a merger of fire and police forces, promising an exhibition of unity and civic engagement.
Followers of the Euless Police Facebook page were greeted with the announcement, exuding glee for the upcoming mingling of community and services, "It's going to be so great that even Euless Police Department will be there! You don't want to miss it." With construction hampering the usual festivities at their headquarters, Euless PD will be visiting the firehouse, a place usually reserved for flames and rescuers, now making room for officers and community outreach.
The annual Open House is a staple event in the Euless community, fostering engagement between residents and the first responders dedicated to their service. This year, alongside demonstrations and informative booths, the Euless Fire Department has the opportunity to shine a spotlight on its operations, showcasing its daily hustle to keep the city safe from fires and disasters.
