
This Sunday, Oct. 27, the Rainier Beach Community Center invites all to join in the festive spirits at the Rainier Beach Harvest Fest Takeover/Trunk or Treating Event. Scheduled from 2-5PM at 8825 Rainier Ave. S, this family-friendly affair promises a medley of engaging activities suited for both the young and the young-at-heart.
The event, which is free and open to everyone, features an assortment of children's activities, several food trucks to satiate a diversity of palates, and trunk or treating for a safe twist on the Halloween tradition. Additionally, attendees can expect non-stop entertainment ranging from balloon twisting to glitter tattooing. As posted on Seattle Parkways, the lineup kicks off with a performance by the Seattle Lion Dragons, followed a by a ceremony to acknowledge the Soul Awardees.
Beyond the awards, a flow of performances will keep the energy high with appearances by the Double Dutch Divas and Skydior. Music interludes will bridge the displays of talent, leading up to performances by Daughters of Royalty and the NW Tap Connection. The stage will then be open for special performances, ensuring there is something to captivate everyone in attendance.
