
A tragic incident in Stow, Massachusetts occurred late Friday afternoon when a motorcyclist was involved in a fatal crash, according to local authorities. The motorcyclist, whose identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin, was killed in a single-vehicle crash that took place around 4:45 p.m., Boston 25 News reported.
Responding to the scene at 109 Red Acre Road, police and fire departments found the motorcycle, which had struck a tree off the side of the road. "A preliminary investigation found that the motorcycle struck a tree off the side of Red Acre Road," Stow Police Chief Michael Sallese stated, according to Boston 25 News. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders, making for a somber discovery as no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
