
The Flint community is reaching out for assistance in resolving a recent homicide that has left many unanswered questions. ABC12 reported that 35-year-old Jacquis Lanier Calhoun Jr. was found dead from gunshot wounds outside of an apartment building in the Midway Square Townhomes complex on Flint's south side. The incident took place at around 1:30 a.m. last Monday.
As the investigation into Calhoun's untimely death continues, authorities have been tight-lipped about potential suspects or motives behind the shooting. However, Mid-Michigan Now underscored the importance of community involvement, encouraging anyone with information related to the case to step forward anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-422-JAIL (5245).
Recognizing the gravity of the situation and the need for justice, Crime Stoppers has offered a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to a felony arrest in this case.
