Early Thursday morning, Nashville awoke to find its skies enshrouded in a thick fog, a natural spectacle that prompted the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to issue an immediate halt on all incoming flights at Nashville International Airport. The FAA cited "low visibility" as the impetus for the ground stop, as reported by WSMV.
