The Folsom Fire Department, having to deal with congested traffic that was severely impacted by the accident, coordinated the transportation of the injured to area hospitals. With emergency vehicles attending to the wounded upon the bridge which serves as a connector between Greenback Lane and Natoma Street, the flow of vehicles was stalled, underscoring the bridge's role as an arterial lifeline for the city, as per Fox40.
