The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is on the hunt for a suspect following the discovery of a young woman's body in Richmond. Identified as Jhon Vanegas Romero, 24. He is believed to be connected to the apparent homicide of 23-year-old Anyi Montealegre Izquierdo, according to a report from FOX 26 Houston. The residence, located on the 5400 block of FM 762 Road, became a crime scene when Izquierdo's body was found yesterday morning around 8:41 a.m.
Investigators say Romero and Izquierdo were sharing the home at the time she was killed, with Romero now missing. Following a tip yesterday evening about Romero's possible location, Fort Bend County's SWAT teams embarked on an extensive search. Upon scouring the 2200 block of Richmond Street in Needville, which after being captured by the Sky2 Chopper, Romero remained at large.
