Over the weekend, the skies above NAS JRB Fort Worth were not the only site of display for the 301st Fighter Wing. On the ground, service members participated in a different form of showmanship at the annual Patriot Games. The event, coordinated alongside Fort Worth AirPower Council, was designed to foster camaraderie amongst military personnel through a series of sporting events.

Amidst, Officer Thomas Hale, balancing his dual responsibilities as a Police Officer at WSPD and a member of the United States Air Force, was in attendance to compete. According to a post on the  White Settlement Police Department's Facebook page, wishing our Armed Forces personnel a wonderful Sunday, celebrated Hale and other military members as they undertook the friendly yet competitive challenges of the day.

The Patriot Games are seen as a tradition within the 301st Fighter Wing, inviting members to not only demonstrate their physical prowess but to strengthen the bonds that hold the unit together. The competition spans a variety of sports, though the specifics of this year's events remain detailed only in the cheers and laughter shared among comrades.
