Four Men Charged with Murder in Conclusion of 2021 Baytown Shooting Investigation That Left Pregnant Woman Dead

After three years of investigation, Baytown police have announced a breakthrough in the tragic shooting that cost a pregnant woman her life and left her child motherless. According to KHOU, four men have been taken into custody and charged with the murder of Dominique Million, who was killed by a stray bullet from a nearby shootout between gang members back in 2021.

The charged individuals - Aaron Heads Jr., 22, and Deavonte Williams, 25, were arrested by Baytown police, while two others, Larry Harris, 25, and Zaviay Turner, 22, were already serving time for separate offenses. Baytown police relied on digital forensics, a national database of ballistic records, and new interviews to piece together the case, as per a statement by Baytown Police Chief John Stringer, KHOU reported.

The incident took a grim turn when Million, seven months pregnant at the time, was struck in the head by a bullet while inside her apartment on Garth Road; although she did not survive, doctors were able to successfully deliver her baby daughter, who is now being raised by Million's mother.

The precise details of the events leading up to the shooting are still under examination; however, authorities revealed that the feud between individuals in two separate vehicles led to the shootout.
