The Franklin Police Department has recently expanded its ranks with the induction of five new officers. According to an announcement from the department, Officers Kris Arnold, Noah Cline, Josh Hill, Erick Lee, and William Travis were sworn in during a ceremony at the police headquarters, in the presence of Police Chief Deb Faulkner, family, friends, and fellow officers.
The new recruits bring a diverse array of experiences and backgrounds to the force. Arnold who hails from Pleasant View, has a background in corrections and patrol from his stint at the Dickson County Sheriff's Office. Meanwhile, Cline, a long-time resident of Franklin and a local high school alum, served the community as a volunteer firefighter over the past four years.
Similarly, native son Hill makes the transfer from the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department, carrying his professional insights back to his hometown. His education is rooted at Trevecca Nazarene University. Lee joins, bringing a military pedigree to the department after nine years of service in the United States Air Force, including tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, followed by two years in the Madison County Sheriff's Office in Alabama.
Completing the cohort, Travis, originally from Murfreesboro, joins the force after a decade at the Rutherford County Sheriff's Office. His academic achievements span multiple institutions, including UT Chattanooga, and the University of Maryland. Each officer's story reflects a commitment to service, and a bridge between different facets of public safety, now united under the banner of the Franklin Police Department.
