The annual Halloween Boo Bash is coming to Downtown Wake Forest this Saturday for a day of fun without breaking the bank. The Wake Forest Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources Department is hosting this free, family-friendly event from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., thanks to local sponsor Capital Chevrolet. Enjoy "Sponsors Trick or Treat" and a variety of food trucks parked on South Brooks Street, according to the Town of Wake Forest.
The Town Hall Campus will come alive with games, inflatables, and a photo booth for a fun-filled Halloween event, where costumes are optional but encouraged for a chance to be featured on the Town's website and social media. Food will be available from vendors like Not Just a Fry Guy, Hollywood Taco Shop, Will & Pop's, and more, providing delicious options to keep the party going. Other treats include GypZea Maize Kettle Corn, Crazy Beans Coffee, and Dusty Donuts, ensuring there’s something for everyone, as stated by the Town of Wake Forest.
To avoid parking tickets, steer clear of private lots like Renaissance Plaza and opt for free public parking available at the Northern Wake Senior Center, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Wake Electric, and various downtown side streets and lots. Check the Town's parking maps for details, and be mindful of signage to avoid fines or towing. This year's Boo Bash is made possible by local businesses, including Capital Chevrolet, Girls Scouts - NC Coastal Pines, and Triangle Family Dentistry. Remember that traditional trick-or-treating takes place on October 31 from 6 to 8 p.m., as the Town of Wake Forest and their police department remind us that this is when the door-to-door candy collection occurs.
