Garland Civic Theatre is bringing laughter and supernatural fun to the stage with its production of Blithe Spirit, a classic comedy that has entertained audiences since the 1940s. The play tells the story of a writer who, while trying to cure his writer’s block, accidentally summons the ghost of his late wife during a séance. Chaos and humor follow as the ghost disrupts his current marriage.
Performances will be held at the Granville Arts Center, located at 300 N 5th St. in Garland, TX, from October 25th through November 10th. Evening shows start at 7:30 PM, with matinees at 2:30 PM on select dates.
Tickets are a steal, with adults paying $25, senior citizens getting in for $20, and students able to enjoy this otherworldly comedy for just $15. Group discounts are available for parties of 10 or more using the code GROUP10, as per the City of Garland.
