The Garland Police SWAT team recently showcased their skills at the Texas Tactical Police Officers Association SWAT Competition in Conroe, Texas, pulling in an impressive sixth place out of 35 teams. Each participating team was tested through nine events, designed to challenge them physically and tactically, covering complex shooting scenarios from a variety of positions and platforms. According to the City of Garland, the events required "both physical tasks and complex shooting from various positions and platforms."
