A Georgetown Independent School District bus with four special needs students aboard was struck by a car that failed to observe a stop sign on Monday afternoon, as reported by CBS Austin. The incident occurred near the intersection of Sycamore Street and Greenside Lane, in the vicinity of The Delaney at Georgetown Village.

Further information obtained by CBS Austin from the Georgetown Fire Department revealed that minor injuries did occur however none of the students were seriously harmed. The students were later released to their families.
