Further reports from WWJ Newsradio revealed that although a bag was stolen, there were no injuries, and law enforcement officials were able to take a woman associated with the incident into custody. They are now intensifying efforts to locate the male suspect whose identity has been determined but who remains at large, with no information provided about how the female was involved in the crime, this has left the community shaken.
University of Michigan President Santa Ono addressed the incident, indicating the increased security measures around campus and the ongoing investigation.
