Authorities are on the lookout for a suspect involved in an unauthorized credit card transaction at a Home Depot in Texas. The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a woman caught on surveillance footage. Constable Mark Herman's Office reported the fraudulent activity occurred on September 7, where an individual used a stolen Home Depot Credit Card to make a purchase totaling $3,571.00.
The incident took place at the Home Depot located at the 21500 block of State Highway 249. Video footage from the scene shows a black female, dressed in dark clothing, who carried out the unauthorized transaction. She subsequently fled in a Gray 4 Door Ford F-150, leaving behind more questions than answers. According to the complainant's report, the fraudulent charge was made on their credit card without consent – a violation of trust and a breach of financial security.
In their continued efforts to apprehend the individual responsible, Constable Herman's Office has released a description and still images of the suspect. They are actively seeking the assistance of anyone who might recognize her or have any relevant information. The suspect's actions have been captured in a moment in time, a snapshot that could prove pivotal in this investigation. "If you recognize this suspect, you are urged to contact our dispatch or your local law enforcement," urged Constable Mark Herman in a Facebook post.
