In a routine traffic intervention turned drug bust, deputies from Constable Mark Herman's Office detained a man identified as Don Jackson on suspicion of narcotics possession. The incident unfolded in the 19700 block of Deerbrook Park Boulevard on Monday, following what began as a standard traffic stop, according to the Constable's official Facebook page.
Investigative efforts by the officers led to the discovery of 10.6 grams of Ecstasy and Methamphetamine. Adding complexity to Jackson’s situation, it was found that he was previously out on bond for a similar offense.
"Don Jackson was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance. His total bond was set at $40,000.00 out of the 337th District Court," relayed Constable Mark Herman in a Facebook post.
