Hawaii Island Police Departmemt are delving into what they believe to be a second-degree murder case after a middle-aged man was discovered deceased in a residence at Hawaii Ocean View Estates. According to a Hawai‘i Police Department Media Release, the body was found on last Friday afternoon, in the 92-9000 block of Tiki Lane. Responding officers arrived approximately at 1:10 p.m. to a disturbing scene where they found a Caucasian man believed to be in his 50s with fatal injuries.
The circumstances surrounding this incident have raised questions, leading detectives from the Area II Criminal Investigation Section to swiftly respond and continue to thoroughly investigate what they consider to be suspicious injuries, as reported by the Hawai‘i Police Department. Not many details have been released as efforts continue to positively identify the victim who remains unnamed at this juncture.
